On Sunday 5th April I was at Wroxall Abbey to shoot the wedding of Karen & Sam with Paul assisting me. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, the weather was great the venue was stunning and the most importantly the couple and their guests were great.
Here’s a few images from the last wedding I photographed which was held on both Friday afternoon and Saturday evening. Friday was a nice quiet family event for Madeleine and Matthew and was held at the Woodside Hotel near Kenilworth. The only downside to the day was the weather although that didn’t dampen the spirit...
I have been using wireless flash a lot during the weddings I have covered this year. Though using flash is often frowned up on, when done correctly the effect can totally change the mood to a photograph. A little bit of flash used in the right way can create stunning images…
This photo was taken during the wedding of Sara & Ross back in June. This is one of my favourite shots from the day which used a subtle ‘splash of flash’ to create a traditional Bride and Groom portrait with a lot more depth to it.
Friday 18th July saw me at Ettington Park to photograph the wedding of Rhiannon and Gareth. Although the day was a bit overcast the venue more than made up for it with it’s stunning architecture and beautiful grounds and the couple had a wonderful time with family and friends.
